Thursday Gamers
The group gets together to play card games, primarily Euchre, Skip Bo, and sometimes Rummy. Occasionally a board game will be played. You do not have to be a member of TUMC, or even attend the church, in order to participate in the Gamers group.
Attendees are invited to bring a snack but this is not mandatory. Oftentimes it seems as if the group plays cards in order to have something to do while they eat. The group meets the 1st, 3rd, and 5th (if there is one) Thursday of every month. The meetings are in the Pioneer Room beginning at 1:30 p.m. and typically go until 3:30 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. Also, the group has a Christmas luncheon the first week of December every year.
